‘The guide showcases exquisite and authentic South West dining experiences, so that foodies can discover special restaurants that are really worth seeking out’
'Trencherman’s celebrates exquisite, creative cooking and pitch perfect service, and it’s what the guide has stood for since it was created by a small group of chefs 25 years ago. And we maintain the quality of the guide by only inviting restaurants that meet the strict scoring criteria.'
‘A guide with teeth’ is how Rick Stein describes Trencherman’s Guide. The independent guide to exquisite dining in the South West includes restaurants, restaurants with rooms and foodie hotels which have been invited into the guide as a result of reaching strict quality criteria. Split into sections for Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bath & Bristol, the guide also includes top chef’s restaurant recommendations and Trencherman’s Collections, such as Top Five for Glamour. Officially launched at Lympstone Manor on 9 May 2017, this year’s edition is particularly special and celebrates the guide’s quarter century.
