Puddings provide a satiating end to a meal with lighter options such as mango iced parfait with a passionfruit, pineapple, lime and coconut sorbet, to heartier classics such as sticky toffee pudding or a platter of West Country cheeses.

Fine wines complement the cooking, and the hotel often hosts wine-pairing dinners. Ale aficionados can also enjoy a pint courtesy of Princetown’s Dartmoor Brewery – we’d recommend sampling its award winning signature sip, Jail Ale. The Two Bridges Hotel Devon cream tea is also extremely noteworthy and best devoured in the gardens after an exhilarating Dartmoor stomp.
