Goodfellows |
||
| Goodfellows restaurant in the glorious mediaeval city of Wells is planned like a small, intimate theatre, with seating on the ground floor around a central open-plan kitchen. Adam and his team prepare dishes using local day boat fish from Devon and Cornwall. He set up Goodfellows in 2004 with his French wife, Martine, and it was voted Somerset Restaurant of the Year 2006 by The Good Food Guide. | ||

Additional information: Goodfellows is in the historic heart of Wells, a step from the famous Gothic cathedral. You can look in for tea and chocolate truffles or a fruit tarte where Martine Fellows presides over the patisserie; linger over a Cassoulet in the Sadler street cafe - or make an event of lunch or dinner at Goodfellows seafood restaurant, the main event! All the dishes are cooked to order by Adam and his team, to original recipes with a modern European temlate. Textures are light, flavours intense, everything to complement the natural taste of the wonderful local fish and seafood. |
